Finally, a little male model in the family! This is my nephew Gavin. Looking at those cute roles, it is hard to believe he was born a 5lb preemie only four months ago. My favorite model feature: the absolutely darling dimpled chin.

We are officially carrying sizes preemie - adult in the caps! I am working on getting as many items in the larger sizes in stock as possible as the holidays draw near.

I am considering adding shoes in larger sizes, which would be strictly for slippers. Any interest? Would you be more interested if they had faux leather or another material as a sole? Let me know!

Keep checking in - hopefully all new hats will be previewed soon, followed by a re-vamping of the website!

We are transitioning to primarily doing small retail orders, since I will be returning to teaching this Fall. We had an overwhelming wholesale response - overwhelming in that we quickly surpassed our production capacity. Please visit our site and see where our products are currently available in stores.

I am still pondering a new ordering system for our new line and continuing in the future, possibly involving an etsy site. We will keep you updated as we learn, grow and decide what direction we want Gianna by jerilyn to take.

Winter Preview

"mary" is a scalloped cap featuring a large, tri-color flower

"zoe" is a wide ribbed cap with one 1" inch natural coconut button accent
and stitching along the brim in a complementary color

"gavin" is a cabled cap with a brim and a 1" inch
natural coconut button accent on each side

"joseph" has a ribbed band and an accent strap on each side
of the cap - features two 1" natural coconut buttons

New Styles are On the Way

We just received new materials to make our winter products, so keep checking in to see our new styles. So far, it looks as though we will have eleven new caps for Winter 2009/2010. The new caps will be made with our organically grown cotton yarn with some fresh, new colors. I am so excited to incorporate new 1" all-natural coconut buttons.

"billy" and "coco" will be back (our frog and bear caps) with a new look, and "peter" will be joining them as a cap with bunny ears. I am working on new flower designs, including a "felicity" cap with a realistic rose and a "mary" cap with a multi-layered flower for the lil' sophisticate. We are going to experiment this winter by letting you choose your own custom colors for your caps and shoes. Don't worry - we will offer suggestions for the indecisive shopper.

This is our nephew, Gavin, enjoying his custom preemie cap. I was so happy that I could contribute to his comfort and health by keeping his little noggin warm while he was in the NICU. This is a version of the "billy" cap, named after Gavin's uncle and godfather. Gavin is now home safe and sound.

Look for the new "gavin" cap, which will be coming soon for this winter!
